My name is Grace, I am 23 years old and newly married. I recently completed my PGCE at Oxford University and have moved back to Berkhamsted with my husband who is a detective in the Met Police. I completed an undergraduate and masters degree at Durham University where I babysat, tutored, and nannied part-time and in the holidays for a few families with children aged between 1 and 14, with the majority of time looking after two children aged 3 and 6 (aged 1 and 4 when I began!). In Oxford, I began two new childcare roles, looking after a 2 year old boy, and siblings aged 9 and 12, providing evening, weekend, and wraparound care which included cooking, bathing, activities, and school runs. I au paired for 6 weeks in Catalonia for two girls aged 10 and 12 in the summer of 2022, as well as covered for an au pair in Westminster, looking after three children aged 3, 3, and 5. I also have experience travelling with families and in local church youth work. While I love teaching, I really enjoy building relationships with children and nurturing them in a more personal way.
