Gillian was our nanny for my son. She began when he was 7 months. I found Gillian on care.com, only to say we did not know each other prior to her employment with us. Needless to say it was difficult for me as a first time mother to leave my baby with someone, however Gillian made it so much easier. She has a wonderful, kind and gentle way with my little one, and he always has a big smile for her when she arrives in the morning. Gillian is always taking him on walks and little adventures, she patiently teaches him words and concepts appropriate for his developmental level, and plays creative activities with him. She is patient, intuitive, and always very mindful of his safety, health and cleanliness. Gillian has a very professional and pleasant way of working with us, and has always been flexible around our scheduling needs. She is incredibly reliable. I can whole heartedly recommend Gillian as a childcare provider. Any family would be extremely lucky to have her as their nanny.
