Looking after children and helping them to learn and develop is such a rewarding job, every day you are with them is amazing as you are helping them to learn new things every single day. By showing positive encouragement and praise throughout helps them to continue their development which will encourage them to grow more independent and more confident, which I enjoy watching and being apart of. I am level 3 qualified in childcare and I have a paediatric first aid and food hygiene certificates, both at level 2. I am currently working at a nursery which is unfortunately closing on the 27th of July as is no longer financially viable to keep open. I have previously worked in breakfast and after school clubs, in a nursery on bank and a mobile crèche. During completion of my courses I was fortunate to have the chance to work in various settings including different nursery's and schools. I have also done a lot of babysitting for family and friends as well as other people on holiday or down for an event that I was recommended to.
