My name is Gemma and I'm 29 and a mum to a 9 year old girl. I'm friendly, reliable, organized and enthusiastic. I like to learn new things and I am a keen learner. I am very committed and caring and like meeting new people. I also have a very calm and patient nature. I have looked after children of all ages as well as having my own child and looked after children with special needs. I have worked with young/ preschool age children doing work experience in all types of settings I have done work experience as a playworker at a pre school Exmouth for a year and a half, work experience as a playworker at a Playgroup in Exmouth for 4 months, 1 weeks work experience at a Day Nursery in Exeter, 1 weeks work experience at a Infants School in Exmouth and an after School club assistant at a Primary School in Exmouth for 1 month paid but left as found out I was pregnant and couldn't cope with having 2 jobs at once. I also did an NVQ level 2 in early years care and education section, 1,2,3. I currently hold a DBS with a foster care agency as a foster care support worker to look after and take out foster children who all have additional needs.
