I have a Childcare and Health And Social Care diplomas Level 2 and up to 2-3 years of experience working in childcare, I’ve looked after friends and families children when I was a teenager, then I worked at a Primary School for a year (year 1 and year 5-6) which I thoroughly enjoyed and had the best time doing! I then went on to becoming an Au Pair, which lead me to move to New York City to nanny for 3 boys for a full year which was the most amazing experience and such a incredible opportunity which made me love childcare ten times more! I’d say the skills I took away from both jobs and experiences were, being more creative when it comes to activities. Also bonding and really getting to know who I’m working with so I can adapt to their likes and dislikes and personalities so that they can benefit much more. I like to do sports in and out of work to make the day fun and be active! I also had a lot of experience taking day trips out with the kids in New York which I enjoyed planning and exploring ideas such as picnics out, aquariums, sports in parks etc! But also a lot of activities at home such as baking, drawing and painting etc! I’m looking to further my experience, skills and more amazing memories!
