Hi, my name's Gemma. I am very passionate about working with children and have been from a very early age. I would consider myself caring and nurturing, passionate and bubbly. I enjoy creative activities and love cooking, baking and listening to a wide variety of music. I also enjoy getting outside and being creative outside and having lots of fun discovering more about nature and teaching children about things that happen outside. For a few years whilst I was at school and University, I did a lot of babysitting for a family with a five year old and a 7 month old until they were both 7 and 2. I have also helped at toddler groups and youth clubs having fun with the children through activities. I have worked in 2 nurseries as a nursery practitioner based in baby room but have had experience with older ages groups. I was working in a nursery and am based in the baby room with babies aged 3 months to 2 years as the room leader. I have also done lots of babysitting for children within these nurseries. I have also had experience working as a deputy manager as maternity cover. I have two children myself, a 4 year old and a 9 month old. Looking for something to fit in with us and maybe be some company for my 9 month old.
