Through volunteering with the elderly from as young as 10 years old I was able to develop interpersonal and communicational skills, giving myself the advantage of being able to converse with people of any ages. I then followed up these people skills by gaining work experience at a local Nursery and then going on to teach young children English at a primary school in Sri Lanka. I have also attended a residential cookery school in order to further my cooking skills, this is combined with a GCSE in Food and Nutrition, so i’m able to make quick decisions when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle for any age. Through completing A levels in Drama, English and Psychology I believe I have the ideal skills to work with children of all ages.
