I worked at Dragon School as an assistant teacher in my gap year before university and worked with children from the school year range of Year 1 - Year 8. I thoroughly enjoy spending my time looking after children and created a fun atmosphere for both myself and them. I coached a lot of team sports and helped out in classrooms and in the boarding houses putting children to bed. I also managed to get regular babysitting for some of the day student children at the school; each week I would babysit 2 or 3 times. This sometimes involved a short walk home from school and helping with homework and making dinner. I am a qualified swim teacher and have been since I was 16 and so have experience with looking after lots of children at once for their swimming lessons. I also have a younger brother who is now 12 years old and have looked after him when my parents have had work.
