I’ve worked in a childminders for 5+ years with children and babies aged 8 months-12 years. The setting had 9 children under 5 a day with older children coming after school and 3 staff members (including me). Each day I was responsible for welcoming the children in; making sure they were happy and settled, serving 3 meals and helping them eat if needed, planning and carrying out fun and enriching activities and making sure they were happy and felt safe with us. I have an NVQ level 2 for children and young people, I’ve had first aid training and I’ve worked with children with autism and adhd. I’m reliable, hard working, caring, friendly and outgoing. I love working with children and encouraging them to be their best selves.
