Hello, my names Freddie. I'm looking do some babysitting over the coming months whilst I come to the end of my degree at Exeter University. I have babysat before but not for a sustained period, but it's something I'd like to think I have qualities for. Firstly, I come from a very big family myself (I'm the fifth out of six children) so I'm pretty used to being around people, and caring for others and being sensitive to their needs. On top of this, I have done a few jobs working with children, such as summer sports camps including one I did in Germany for a few weeks whilst on a gap year a few years ago. Whilst on that gap year, I also did a trip to Ghana where I stayed in a little village for 3 months and immersed myself into life there, and particularly with the children. I taught in their local school, and played countless hours of football with them. All this to say, I really love being around kids and am comfortable with them. And then on top of this, I'm really looking to work, and particularly as a babysitter, as a way to put myself into something or someone else. I do suffer from anxiety, however I'd like to see this in a positive sense in that I'm motivated to do a good job.
