About Frankie
23 years old
I have lots of experience in caring for children across both social and workplace environments. This August I graduated with a degree in Childhood Studies from the University of Bristol, my degree focused on developmental psychology, social policy and law and the importance of good health for the development of children. Whilst studying I worked as a specialist support worker for children who had experienced trauma in the form of attachment disruption due to being placed into the care system. As part of my degree I also compiled a 4 month work placement at a SEND school working with non verbal autistic children. From the age of 15, I volunteered as a leader at my local brownie group. I completed work experience in primary schools during my time at sixth form. Within this time I was also part of a charity legacy project for children in Uganda, where I spent 3 weeks learning and interacting with the children so we could leave the best legacy behind that would meet their needs. My experience has allowed me to build trusting relationships with children from all different walks of life, I have confidence in my abilities but also use a flexible approach to best suit individual needs.
