I have worked in care since I was 17, I began completing an apprenticeship with the NHS as a health care assistant and then went on into the community. I wanted a break and went to Camp America for 3 months in 2019 where you live on camp and look after the children ages from 5-17 years old . I worked as lifeguard, supporting children to swim and do water activities. I then went back to working for the NHS, working on the maternity ward supporting women and their new borns. I am now and have been for the last 3 years in recruitment within the care sector.
