My name is Fran, I’m a fun, creative and caring individual with a passion for the arts and music. I love animals, wild swimming and spicy food. I grew up in Falkirk before moving to Edinburgh to study languages in 2021, however I realised that childcare is what I’m passionate about. I have worked in an art studio as a youth tutor delivering classes to children aged 4-16. I currently work as a play worker with a local after school club but am looking for something more reliable with a small family. I regularly childmind for local families and enjoy spending that time really getting to know the children and the families in a way that can be challenging in a busy childcare setting. I spend my free time painting and going to different art galleries, or practising music with my band mates. I sometimes play live too. I would love to incorporate my art experience into a nannying role, creating fun projects and ideas for the children. My plans for the future are to continue focusing on childcare and to get involved with art projects in and around Leith.
