For over 2 years I have worked as a Care Co-ordiantor for a well established Live-in Care Agency. Now I am pursuing my nurses training- the aim is for me to balance my studies along with providing childcare. I can still be reliable and flexible depending on support required. Before I became a Care Coordinator I worked as a teachers assistant for a year, supporting children from 3-13years old- I learnt the importance of providing a caring and safe environment for a child to learn and have fun. I still babysit some of those pupils to this day! My brother and I were both raised by a nanny; I know first hand the fears of being separated from your most important human(s), the implications of trusting someone with your child/ children and for a stranger to enter the family unit (Circle of Trust). I saw how a good nanny relieved pressure from my parents and became a source of comfort for us all. Light housework, meals, homework, pick up/drop off, after school, activities, bathing, bed time etc- can do. I welcome the opportunity to discuss further.
