Ive been working in different nurseries for 3 years now. I have my Level 3 childcare certificate. I enjoyed helping to oversee, maintain and organise a clean, tidy, child-friendly environment. I supervised activities, such as messy play, crafts, cooking, reading and outdoor/physical pursuits.  I was able to provide continuous supervision to children during indoor and outdoor activities and created and maintained safe learning and playing environments. I also organised and executed activities schedules, developed and reinforced daily routines, and taught children good hygiene habits such as washing hands. I became very familiar and gained experience with how to interact with the parents/carers everyday. During parents evening i spoke with my key children’s parents to discuss and review checklists regarding allergies, emergency contacts, food preferences, and other child-specific issues. During snack time i prepared healthy meals and snacks, and planned and set up playtime and educational games. I strongly believe its critical to work as a team both with parents and staff to help the children learn and grow to their best ability
