I worked as a Sessional Childcare Worker at North Edinburgh childcare, a nursery that offers care and early years education to children from as young as 6 months old to 5 years old. My role involved creating fun activities and educational games for the children so they could learn and become more confident in their own skills. I also worked at both After School and Breakfast clubs, helping children with their homework, creating interesting team games with them, and providing snacks. Previously I was an English and Art teacher at a primary school in Portugal, and was able to develop my skills learning how to provide them with care, fun and knowledge simultaneously. I speak portuguese and spanish fluently and also really enjoy cooking and baking so I would love to share these passions when working with kids! I'm very interested in Art and History and study Archaeology which allows me to design different child friendly activities that are entertaining and confidence building
