I gained a BA in Childhood and Youth Studies from Edge Hill University and since then I have developed my interest in Childhood mental heath and the strategies that can be used to develop positive mental health in children. These strategies include mindfulness, activities in nature of course creative outlets and I really enjoy getting children engaged in these activities.
I strongly believe in providing respectful, gentle care to the children I look after with lots of fun sprinkled in along the way.
I have 6 years experience of looking after children in a variety of different settings. In my current position I am an early years education provider working with the under twos in a busy nursery. I am very proactive in regards to developing my skills and knowledge for my career. I have taken part in a wide rage of additional training to support my role. I currently hold a paediatric first aid qualification and a food hygiene certificate amongst numerous other qualifications.
Presently I am available for evening and weekend work with one full day available during the week. That said I would consider I full time position with the right family.
