I am a calm and caring being who loves working with children. I am patient and adapting. I feel like I would be good for the job as it is natural to me to look after children and babies. I have alot of experience, as I have have many cousins who I have babysat, ranging from newborn to teenagers. I also feel it important to note that I have a severely disabled brother who can only communicate through body language and screaming. I have learnt what different body language he does and what they mean. I have learnt that his screams are his ability of communication so I have learnt the difference between his different vocal sounds and I am able to clearly differentiate the subtle differences in his communications, in order to provide him with effective support and care. I am currently taking a year out of university where I was studying mental health nursing. I hold GCSE's and a Btec extended diploma in health and social care. I have done basic training such as safeguarding, basic life support, first aid, breakaway and moving and handling. Overall I would be good for a role with children, due to my caring and open personality.
