As an experienced child care professional, I am deeply passionate about engaging with children of all ages. I am enthusiastic, warm, and an adaptable worker. At Greenwood Trails Summer Camp, I was directly responsible for around ten children at a time and provided around-the-clock-support for them ensuring that they were happy and healthy throughout the summer. In addition, throughout each day I entertained different groups of campers, developing relationships with each of the 100+ children by playing inventive games with them, teaching them artistic skills (such as pottery, bracelet making, etc.), and facilitating their development of healthy social skills. I also have plenty of experience diffusing conflicts between children, tackling everyday challenges (including temper tantrums, bedwetting, managing morning and nighttime routines, etc.), and assisting children with special needs (such as diabetes and mental health conditions).
