Keeping children safe and happy is my main priority; ensuring that parents' wishes are adhered to fully while seeing that children are stimulated and motivated to learn, get exercise and grow in confidence. I speak many languages, and have passed this fascination on to all my charges. I form close bonds quickly with families and can work really well sole charge, with other nannies, or with parents. I have travelled with families, sometimes with the children by myself, and really work hard so that the parents are able to enjoy holidays. Tutoring is my favourite project with children. I love nature, the outdoors, swimming, cycling and making sure that each day is filled with art, sport, education; I don't see childcare as a job, it is a vocation and a privilege. Confidentiality is a huge part of my ethos and this has been strictly maintained with every employer. I also am astute about the needs of a family - I know when to step in and when to give space, and I am skilled at getting children to respect me.
