After gaining A* A A in my A levels I decided to take a gap year before going to university in September in order to gain some important life experience before going back to full time education.
Having always adored children, I undertook a 2 month volunteering programme in Fiji earlier this year where I was teaching in a school and Kindergarten. My time here was one which I will never forget and was an experience that only strengthened my love for little ones. With their relentless energy, affection and unintentional humour I have missed not being surrounded by children and so would love the opportunity to care for yours. Prior to this I have worked for several summers at HOAC, assisting both disabled and abled-bodied children and this has helped me become a patient, kind, playful girl who will be there to both supervise and amuse your children!
Completing a St Johns ambulance first aid course enables me to know how to act effectively if something was to happen - unlikely but you never know what children can get up to!
I will study psychology at university and thus know how important these early years are so really want to help make these as special as possible for your child.
