I have cared for two boys for nearly two years in the age range of 7-12, one of which has potentially life-threatening severe allergies. I looked after them both in the evening and in the day time which required me to be responsible for many things. For example, preparing food and making sure homework is done. I have personal experience with younger children too, as I have cared for my nephew babysitting from when he was born until the age of nearly two now. I also have work experience in a primary school young year classes and have completed a BTEC Level 2 in Childcare, Learning and Development. I am very interested in gaining more experience in working with children as they are the people of tomorrow and need our help to develop themselves into bright young people. I eventually want to work in a social care sector.
