I have had experience in different age groups such as babies, toddlers and pre-school children, and whilst at university I have also had experience in schools. So I am able to adhere to each of these children's care needs including, making up bottles, dressing children and changing nappies. In addition to this, I believe that working in a busy nursery has given me the skills to also become an efficient cleaner due to having to clean the nursery ourselves, therefore, I feel that I could complete light housework, as and when is needed. I have completed a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Childcare and Education as well as a Foundation Degree in Early Years and have gained a BA Honours Degree in Childhood and Education. In addition to this, I have also got safeguarding training and first aid training that has just been renewed and I have recently undertaken Special Educational Needs training, due to this being an interest area of mine. I have been working as a nanny for the last year and a half with a family of 3 boys aged 11, 13 and 16.. so have done the usual driving around, cooking their dinners, going to their sportS matches, tidying and cleaning their bedrooms and clothes.
