I am currently a student at the University of Exeter, studying a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology with Employment experience. I have worked as a Child-Care Assistant in a childminding setting for 4 years, Wherein I have helped look after children aged from 10 months to approximately 10 years old. I helped to entertain, care for, feed, and pick up from playgroups and primary schools, as well as changing nappies, etc. Through this work, I have been certificated in a 12-hour paediatric first-aid training and attended Safeguarding training, which has engaged critical thinking skills and a responsible manner. I have also done frequent babysitting for my neighbours, both daytime and in the evenings, looking after babies aged 18-20 months, toddlers aged 3-5, and primary school-aged children up to around 10 years old. Moreover, I was a frequent volunteer at my church's 'Messy Church' programme, where I helped to lead interactive and creative activities for primary school-aged children, fostering a caring and welcoming environment.
