My mum is a childminder and has been since I was very little so I have always grown up in a busy, playful household and have watched my mum thrive at her job. Naturally I loved helping her out whenever I could so I decided I’d like to do some work experience at Tiny Tows Pre school which was my old primary school! I did this for 2 weeks. My first job was an after-school club assistant role also at Towcester primary and I did this for 7 months. My most recent job was a child practitioner position at The rocking horse day nursery in Greens Norton, this was for 6 months. Throughout my experience and working with children from as young as 6 months to 12 years, I have gained so much confidence and I completely understand the patience, care and commitment that goes into safeguarding and helping a child to flourish, grow and learn. I have experienced working with 2 key children, ensuring they reach their next steps and reporting to parents at the end of the day. I help prepare meals and supervise at lunch and break times. I can prepare bottles/change nappies/bath times. I love to create activities and join in on the fun.
