I began working in schools in London as a TA and learning mentor with specials needs and mainstream primary school children in 2009. I used my knowledge attained whilst studying art psychotherapy and TEFL teaching (English), and mainly worked on a one to one basis. I then studied to become a community art leader and began running art workshops for children and adults in Cornwall / London / Devon. I also run classes for children and mums and babies in Yoga.(YA Certified 2007) In recent years I studied again Level 3 home based childcare, safeguarding children, food and hygiene and next month paediatric first aid. I decided to work in a nursery / pre-school setting in Exeter. I found I couldn't give full attention to the individual child as there were 30 plus children so I am now looking for a local job with 1-3 kids so I can give them all my energy. I am 42 and do not have my own children but I have 2 adorable God children, one in London and one in Brixham. My working hours are flexible. I am looking for regular work in the Totnes area but not Wednesdays and Saturday mornings as I teach English classes.
