I have years of experience, I can work for long hours, and provide a calm, safe environment for any child. I work with children who have many different needs for example; Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, depression, anxiety, slow processing disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome, non-verbal individuals, PDA (pathological demand avoidance), visually impaired students and also physically disabled students. I have experienced almost every kind of behaviour! I have learned that behaviour is communication. If a student is displaying a negative behaviour 9/10 times it is because they are going through something they need to talk about,there is always a story behind their actions. Part of my job is de-escalation, i am very good at calming students down and providing a safe environment. I have studied medical science at Bournemouth University. I also have a Level 3 qualification in Health and social Care, I finished with an A*. I am already DBS checked as I work in a school. I also have my GCSE’s in English language and literature, Maths, Science, Geography, History and Art. I also teach a speech and language course at a secondary school.
