Hi, my names Ellie and I’m 20 years old. Currently Im a university student studying working with children, young people and families. I am a qualified level 3 Childcare practitioner. I have 5 younger siblings so from as young as 12 years old I’ve gained experience babysitting. As I’ve gotten older I’ve gained experience babysitting children outside the family also. I also worked in a nursery for a year where I mainly worked with the children aged 2-4, however, occasionally I would look after the babies and children with additional needs. My role involved playing with the children, setting up games, teaching the EYFS seven areas of learning, meeting their dietary needs by preparing snacks and supervising meals, upkeep of the children’s personal hygiene (as in encouraging or helping them wash their hands and face, helping them with their toiletry needs), maintaining a clean environment and so on. I love working with children and plan on doing a masters in special needs education. I’m lots of fun! I’m very creative and adventurous and always happy to play along.
