With a background in both childcare and the service industry, I am a confident and competent minder, as well as a helpful addition to any home. I have had two long term roles as a minder, also involving cooking (often in collaboration with the children I cared for) and light, and deep, cleaning. One of these was in Dublin for a 7 year old boy, the other in New York for a 3 year old and a newborn. I am a bright, enthusiastic and engaged carer, always giving my best to the children I care for. I am intentional about the example I set, while also building a unique bond with each individual child. I grew up in a family business, and often had au pairs while growing up. From this experience I am well aware of the impact a carer can have on the wellbeing and development of a child. Many of my happiest memories are with my past au pairs, and I aim to recreate that for the children I care for. In my prior two roles I have become a valued addition to the household, and remain close both with the children and parents I have worked with. I am comfortable with a range of tasks, and adapt to the needs of each family. I draw on my education in psychology in my care provision and enjoy helping the children I mind flourish.
