I am 20 years of age and have been working within a childcare sector for the previous 3 years. I started off my journey doing work experience during high school in a Nursery which I now 5 years later work for that exact company. I then went onto working in a creche with children from the ages of 3 months- 12 years which I absolutely adored. After completing sixth form I then decided to further my career and get an apprenticeship in the children’s hospital with very sick children in intensive care which lead me to then working as a maternity care assistant on the women’s ward. Fast forward to now, I currently work at a nursery within a baby room where I have my own key children, responsibility and important role within the company. I have always wanted to have a career within childcare as I have always been a family orientated individual when it comes to children growing up.
