I am a kind and caring individual who has grown up as one of five children. I come from a large busy family so am very used to looking after and caring for younger siblings and relatives. I grew up in West Sussex until my family and I relocated to Madagascar and Cape town for 5 years, throughout this time I learnt to speak fluent French, studied musical theatre and spent time as a babysitter/nanny. I have grown up taking care of kids around me and am fully capable of taking care of newborns to teenagers. I love working with children and helping them grow, I feel it is a truly rewarding experience. Happy to teach French and piano if this is something that would be of interest. For the last year I have been taking care of my Mother who was diagnosed with cancer. This helped me to gain a wider understanding of care giving and has helped shape me into the person I am today. This was my full time role and I would take care of every aspect of my Mothers condition/day to day life. I looked after a child in 2016 before and after school. This involved getting him up and ready for school, taking him to clubs and coming up with fun activities for us both in the afternoons/evenings. Also getting him ready and putting him to bed when needed.
