Hello! I'm Ella. I’ve worked in childcare throughout my life, starting with babysitting and later becoming a full-time nanny while completing my BA in London. I worked with two families, finding the experience rewarding as I built strong relationships and brought creativity into the children’s routines. Since moving to Brighton, I’ve worked as an agency nursery worker, gaining experience across many nurseries and staying longer at a few. This role involved caring for large groups of children, quickly building trusting relationships, and adapting to different settings. As a nanny, I’ve cared for children aged 5–9, managing school pick-ups and drop-offs, extracurricular activities, day trips, travel, themed activities, homework help, meal planning, and bedtime routines. At nurseries, I’ve cared for children aged 6 months to 5 years, ensuring their safety and happiness throughout the day. My responsibilities include serving meals, assisting with naps, and planning stimulating activities. I’ve gained valuable experience supporting children’s diverse needs, deepening my understanding of their development and encouraging flexible, creative approaches.
