My name is Elizabeth McNamee, I am 19 years old and finished school with 8 GCSE grades C and B; I also received a distinction in ICT. After leaving school in 2013 I started my studies at Furness College where I was able to receive a Level 3 and Extended Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People’s Workforce, I have been studying for a Foundation Degree in Children, Young People and their Services. I have recently completed my Foundation Degree course and am awaiting my fail grades. While completely this Foundation Degree I have been working within Roose Nursery's baby room and 2-3 year old room, gaining vital experience that has supported me to develop as a practitioner. Furthermore, during the school holidays I work in Roose Nursery’s Holiday Club where I work with a variety of children ages 6 months to 11 years. Over the past four years I have gained vital experience within child care settings, which has allowed me to work alongside other members of staff and support young children in their education. I would consider myself to be a good communicator, as well as: honest, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and hard working.
