I have done various babysitting jobs, mostly for my church. while the parents are going to the sermon i would look after the younger children. we would have some activities out for them and then gave them a snack when needed, sometimes we watched a movie. i have younger sister and when my parents were out i would babysit her. I have also been on a few placements to various childcare institutions. I have been involved in some voluntary work with children in France. the project consisted in giving children from disadvantage backgrounds a day in a month, a range of activities that would change them form their everyday life. Concerning the childminding ,I am available in the evenings and all day Wednesday and all day Friday as well as the weekends . I can also help with homework especially if it involves French ! i can practice that language and talk to them in French.. i do know how to cook a bit. I am kind and enthusiastic when it comes to taking care of kids. I love having fun but you can count on me to be the grown up in the room ! I want to be a teacher when i am older and i hope this job will offer me the opportunity to perfect my understanding of children and teens.
