I consider myself a nurturing individual who cares deeply about the children I care for, creating strong bonds which allows the children to flourish in all areas of their development. I believe children should become resilient, confident young people who can independently meet their own personal needs by being given opportunities in which they can take safe risks. This allows children to become good problem solvers, to communicate their wants and needs and develop holistically. I am an enthusiastic individual who thrives off of giving children endless opportunities to grow and develop, offering a simulating environment where they feel safe and confident. I use communication to gain information about the children I work with, reflect the children’s day to the parents and gain trust with the children I work with by using positive reinforcement and praise.
