I’m a 19 year old University Student who studies painting at Grays School of Art (4 year BA HONs) I currently work as a care assistant in a dementia care home. I have a younger sister (14) who I’ve spent most of my life looking after when needed. I also have an older brother (26)who is globally mentally delayed so I am very use to challenging behaviour and looking after those with learning disabilities. I own a car for transportation and have been driving with zero issues since start of Oct 2018. I possess a range of higher and national 5 qualifications, allowing me to be helpful with assisting with homework. I have first aid skills from Scouts and my care job allowing me to deal with most situations. I’m capable of cooking for special diets. I’m looking for work during the week, preferably in the evening/afternoon but some all day work is also possible. I’m a happy and kind guy just looking to help and care for children. I have an interest in becoming a secondary school art teacher and have plans to go on to study a PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma of Education) so this would be great experience for that later application.
