I have experience in both babysitting my nephew (for over 3 years) eg making sure he stays safe, well fed and put to bed on time, as well as experience in being a TA in a year 5 class at my local primary school. As a TA I helped students with their reading and basic mathematics. This experience means that I am aware of how to make sure that a child has a calm and comfortable time with me, as swell as ensuring they complete their tasks eg homework, brushing teeth and getting to bed on time.
