Hi, I cover Kings Norton (B38) and surrounding areas. I’m a qualified and experienced Early Years Teacher, and I’m excited to bring the experience I have gained to a home environment, where I am able to nurture children to learn and grow in confidence; creating an environment of love, affirmation and acceptance. My childminding setting has been specifically tailored to help children develop questioning and language skills, grow in creativity, and ignite their imagination. I have also completed a level one forest school qualification, in order to turn the outdoors into a wonderful learning environment for the children I care for! All meals are home cooked and I am able to cater for gluten free diets. I also have experience dealing with children with Type 1 diabetes and I am able to carb count meals. Due to Coronavirus, children will be kept in social bubbles and I am considering the feasibility of picking and dropping children from their homes, in order to limit the number of adults entering my setting (to be confirmed). I provide extended opening hours from 7.30-7pm and flexibility for shift workers. Weekend and emergency care can also be provided as required.
