I qualified as a Nursery Nurse (NNEB) in 1997. Since qualifying I have worked in many Nurseries with children 0 - 5 years. I have also been a nanny for a two year old boy which I did for two years. At present I work in a Pre - School, I have been there for 11 years, looking after children from 2 - 4 years. Whilst working in two nurseries I was the team leader in the baby room. I am able to plan and carry out not only educational activities but fun ones as well which will cater to the individual child's age and development needs. I have good knowledge of the EYFS, which I use in my current job, to observe, which then goes on a online learning journey called Tapestry. here the parents can see what there child has been up to in their day, also leaving their own comments etc. I feel I have a tears of experience which would come in handy for a number of families. I would also be able to provide references from my current employer and from various parents whose children I have looked after over the years.
