In my most recent role, I was responsible for a young child from the age of 4 through to 11 years old. My duties included, preparing breakfast, getting him ready for school, and dropping him off. I would then collect him at the end of the day, prepare dinner, help with homework, bath and ready for bed. Prior to this, I have had 18 years experience working in a primary school, I have worked in a variety of age setting but particularly in years 1-4 ages 5-9. I am very passionate about looking after young children and watching them grow and flourish. It is a very rewarding career and something I enjoy immensely. I believe in creating a positive and happy environment in which children can feel protected and thrive in. I have excellent organisational and communication skills which I feel is vital in caring for children. I have two children both of whom are now in their thirties and I spent 10 years at home with them so have a lot of experience looking after children in the home and following daily routines. My many years of experience make me a great candidate for this role, I also do not mind doing household chores and offering support around the home.
