Due to the large age gap between me and my siblings, I was able to observe the different stages in a child’s development as well as helping to raise them. There are many children within my wider family which has enabled me to gain lots of close experience with different age ranges and personalities. Over the years I have gained a lot of knowledge of what is involved in looking after children through babysitting. This would include late night and overnight stays. My babysitting duties would involve: bedtime routines; cooking; tidying; school runs and personal care; eg: bathing, showering, teeth brushing, nappy changing etc.
