From a young age i knew i wanted to have a career working with children, as being the oldest in my family i grew up with younger siblings and enjoyed being their big sister, helping out with them and being their role model. I began to babysit for family and friends from the age of 15 which was when i knew i wanted to continue working with children as a career, so to pursue my dream job i completed a three year Bachelor of Honours degree in Early Childhood and Education at Liverpool Hope University. After university I worked in a nursery setting for 1 year and 9 months, working with children from 8 weeks to 11 years. I then decided to take a leap of faith and start up my own business as an approved home child carer. Below is a list of other relevant courses I've undertook: • Paul Berry 12 hour paediatric first aid (21st June 2016). • Oral Health Training (2nd March 2017) • Epilepsy Awareness training and Emergency Medication training for the use of Buccolam (8th March 2017) • Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering (21st June 2017) All certificates can be produced.
