I have grown up with 3 siblings, with my mum being a single parent and having a demanding job it was often in my role to look after them, this included daily tasks of cooking meals, homework, bathing, putting to bed and often cleaning the house. I have also had experience of babysitting for family friends and people that know me through my job, I have always enjoyed this as I feel i’m a good friendly person that children can trust. Although I am young, this works in my advantage often as kids feel they can confide in me and I can relate to them. I’m a fun energetic person so playing and amusing children is a natural thing for me! I know that babysitting is more than just caring for your children, it’s about creating a bond with them, enabling them to trust me and most importantly being a person they can look up to. All of these are things that I am able to build.
