For the past year I have worked as a Primary School Teaching Assistant. This has given me experience with children in both KS 1 & 2, showing me the importance of caring for their educational, emotional and social needs. I have assisted two families as their private Nanny (references available) providing day-to-day physical, emotional and educational well-being of the children independently. I formulated a fluid plan that incorporated all subjects, allowing me to follow the individual child's interests and cater learning activities to their specific preferences to make learning more enjoyable. I spent almost 3 years working at The Nursery at Wilmslow Prep as Deputy Room Leader, educating children according to Ofsted standards in all areas of the EYFS. This included implementing long and short-term goals in all aspects of development such as sleep routines and toilet training. I thrived on building strong relationships with my Key Children and their families as I feel it is vital that there be complete cohesion between parents and childcare professional. I have an enhanced DBS on the update service, Paediatric First Aid Qualification, and courses in FGM, Prevent, Maths in Early Years and SEND.
