I applied and successfully received an apprenticeship within Nursery Group at Kelvinside Kindergarten directly after I finished my education in high school in August 2016. Since then I have thrived within the setting, having worked and experienced almost every play room within the nursery ranging from Babies to Pre School , I can adapt myself to care for every child of each age group. I qualified in October of 2018 and have continued to develop and obtain more skills and knowledge regarding the GIRFEC planning and Curriculum for excellence. Currently I am based in the Pre School room and as a qualified practitioner within the room I have learned to take on leadership each day. During 2019 I was nominated for Practitioner of the Year within the company I work for. I feel that within such a short time span of 3 and a half years I have achieved so much as a young individual within the child care career and only wish to develop that by challenging myself with new adventures and responsibilities using the potential I have.
