I am a level 3 qualified childcare worker with seven years of childcare experience working with children aged 3 months - 8 years but have also done a voluntary youth work course so have some experience with older children. I started as a nursery assistant at level 2 and when I gained my level 3 qualification my job role changed to nursery nurse. I then went on to being a toddler room leader and have most recently worked as a preschool room leader. Since leaving my job as a preschool room leader I have gained a Midwifery degree and worked as a midwife for 4 years. I have a wide knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and how to communicate with both children and their parents/carers.
