I worked as a childminder assistant for 3 years leaving my job in July 2024. I looked after children within a range of ages starting from 10 months to 11 years old. I worked Monday to Thursday with the occasional Friday. Main duties were: Assisting during meal times Assist in playtime activities Help with cleaning duties Put children down for naps Read stories to children I have done plenty of babysitting for family members and friends and have done since the age of 14. I have a big family so a babysitter is always needed! I love working with children as I enjoy watching them thrive when they reach new milestones or feel like they have accomplished something. It’s special seeing them grow and develop in their own way. My previous job made me love working with children even more as I built strong bonds with them all. I worked with some of them from the age of 10 months until they reached 3/4 years old and seeing how much they grew in confidence was very heartwarming.
