Hi, I am Chloe, a 21-year-old graduate, with a degree in musical theatre. My experience caring for children began when I babysat/cared for my now 12-year-old brother who has ADHD and learning difficulties. I further developed this experience during my employment at Alton Towers, Build a Bear and Storyhouse, where communication and patience were essential. I love caring and teaching children, which is why I began volunteering at Mill View Primary School with the early year's pupils (aged 4-5). At Mill View, I oversaw children throughout the school day, dealt with trips/falls, taught small groups, played with them and overall offered them support. The above inspired me to study a master’s in psychology, so one day I can become a certified Educational Psychology developing children's sense of self-worth and mental wellbeing. In August I will be attending a paediatric first aid training course, and on successful completion, I will receive my paediatric first-aid certificate. Another skill I hope to develop soon is driving, a service I cannot offer at the moment. Alongside caring, I am comfortable helping with housework, homework, pets and cooking.
