I have been working and helping with children since I was in college. Babysitting most weekends as a teenager, I learned a lot about caring for children but it was working for a nursery that really helped build my knowledge. I had the independence and creative freedom to come up with my own activities for the children and every day, we did something new. I've dealt with all different things from nappies, bottles, disinfecting, tantrums, play time, outdoor play, etc. I have worked with children from the ages of 0-4 in a nursery setting and up to 13 when babysitting and being around family friends' children. I really enjoy working with children. There are a lot of things they need to learn but we also learn a lot from them. They are funny, brutally honest at times and very lovable. Children have the ability to make anyone smile and that is what I really admire about working with them. They really bring out the inner child in us all.
