I have always had the passion to work alongside children. I am reliable and well organised, I am very enthusiastic and always smiling. I started volunteering in a primary school doing my level 3 teaching assistant course and was lucky enough to be offered a teaching assistant position. I worked with groups of children and individual children with specific needs e.g. autistic, ADHD, learning and behavioural difficulties and a general teaching assistant also. An amazing year unfortunately came to an end due the school having to make cut backs on teaching assistants due to lack of funds. This never stopped my desire to look after and work with children. I starting working in a children’s care home for children who have experienced neglect and abuse. My position was to give them a family orientated life they and every other child deserves. I take them too and from school and support in school when necessary. I prepare meals and snacks throughout the day. Ensure children complete there morning and night routines and activities.
